      1. My goal is more about writing this year. Finish my WIP, start my next one, and get a few short stories published. Whatever I read in between is a bonus!

      1. You’re an inspiration. Because of you, I signed up for the challenge, but with half of your goal. 😊

    1. It’s a great way to keep track of books read in the challenge:) That’s where I started, short stories moved it up. Yay! Happy reading, Gwen.

  1. Wow! I that’s great! Had difficulty reading but in the last month my creativity soared. I’m grateful that one-half of the reading/writing part of my life can me through in the end! Wishing you and everybody who shares our passions an amazing 2021! 💓

    1. I was the opposite, Lynda it was easier for me to read than write, with poetry being the exception. Yay for your creativity soaring! Thank you! I hope the same for you. Xo

    1. Thanks, Joan 🙂 You should be proud to read 30! There was a time when I was lucky to read 10 a year.

    1. Thanks, Karen 🙂 I’ve been reading between 60-75 so this was an unusual year for my reading. I know you read a lot and I hope you are able to read more this year, Karen. I add my to my Kindle than I can read, but it’s nice to know there are many good stories waiting. Xo

  2. Wow! I’m in awe, Denise. That is a LOT of books!
I didn’t meet my GR challenge in 2020. I set out to read 70 books but only managed 65. I lowered the number for 2021, but I’m crossing my fingers I can top 70.
Congrats again and happy reading for 2021!

    1. That’s about what I usually shoot for Mae and was surprised I went past it and hit 100. I was at 95 in December and added my Christmas reads, which I don’t usually do and then continued with a couple books on my TBR list, getting to 106. I doubt I will hit that again so I went to 75 as my 2021 goal. Happy reading 🙂

  3. Wow, Denise! Congratulations! That’s a LOT of books! I only managed 50, but exceeded my goal, so it’s all good. There are SO many GREAT books out there and so little time to read them all. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Jan 🙂 It was an unusual reading year for me. I think 50 is a lot of books to read too. Yet, no matter now many I read I never seem to put a dent in my TBR list…lol. Happy reading!

  4. Holy Hannah, look at all those book covers! Wow, Denise. That’s an amazing amount of reading.
Plus I just saw your Amazon review for Dead of Winter, Journey 2, Penllyn — and I’m beyond thrilled. I’m so happy you enjoyed it. Hugs on the wing!

    1. I’ve had a good reading stretch, yours included! I can’t wait for the next installment:) Hugs back.
