Here is Colleen Chesebro’s Tanka Tuesday Weekly Poetry Challenge #249. This week is a theme poem. Kindness was provided by fellow Story Empire Author, Harmony Kent.
I went with a tanka 5/7/5/7/7 and added to a picture of a local waterfall.

This piece reminds me of small words of encouragement that change the mood of a sad person into one of gratefulness to continue the day… I used to do the morning shift at a very small breakfast/ coffee place. 🙂
Thank you, Jules:) I think we all search for that encouragement in different ways to embrace the good side of life.
Gorgeous, Denise. Another lovely metaphor from nature to learn from. <3
