Hi!
Back from a relaxing vacation, except for the day Hubby and I helped our oldest daughter move 🙂
We celebrated our 41st Anniversary by visiting the redwoods and ocean. Another day we headed up to Reno and enjoyed seeing the beautiful sights along the way. Here are some pictures.

Watch for a special edition post, Thursday, and my newsletter comes out. Next week is the release of Sounds in the Silence and a blog tour. I will be posting links here.
Embrace your inner child by visiting nature or reading a good book! D. L. Finn

Thank you, Noelle. Yes, a really good upclose view of their survival skills.
Happy Anniversary! Hopefully, your daughter doesn’t live too far away from you. These photos look like where we live, though we’re further north. We stayed at Big Basin Redwoods State Park last summer.
Thank you, Pete 🙂 Both our daughters live close by. Only our son left the state. I love your area too, my grandma lived in Arcadia later in life with here sister. The comeback redwoods make amazes me and always a great place to stay and live.

It looks like hubby manages to keep up with you, Denise. Kudos to him! And about ‘relaxing’–yep. Moving would never be in the same sentence with relaxing.
He does keep up and passes me right by… lol. I agree, nothing relaxing about moving.
Happy Anniversary!
Thank you, Andrew 🙂
Congratulations on your anniversary, Denise. Nature is so good for the soul – and to reminisce on the years past – which, if you’re anything like us, seem to have flown by!
Thank you, Judith 🙂 Very good for the soul! Yes, time has flown by. We focused on all our best times, and that took a while.

Hi Denise, 41 years – wow! Huge congratulations. I’m glad you had a lovely vacation. It’s such a shame that only the redwoods are making a comeback. I hope the other foliage will follow on in the medium term.
Happy belated anniversary!
