Here’s Colleen Chesebro Tanka Tuesday Poetry Challenge # 245. It’s a Theme Prompt and Eugi (Franci Hoffman) picked the theme, The Harvest Moon.
I went with tanka poem 5/7/5/7/7.
glowing harvest moon
reflects in offered crystals
they light up the night
a moment of pure magic
where grateful souls emerge healed
I love the last line.

I was just reading about opals, and how the different crystals and minerals within the stone refract light.
Opals were once thought to be lucky stones. I was always told they were lucky if you were born in October.
But then some writer had feature an opal as holding a bad spirit and the stone fell out of fashion for many years.
Some believing the opal was representative of the Evil Eye. The power of fiction!
I like luck and healing better 😉
