MOON’S MAGIC

A lone black cat sits on the edge of our world, under the harvest moon. Her green eyes reflect the celestial beams, and her fur absorbs the stars. She rubs against the night’s promise, and its magic fills her soul.

      1. I’m sure I will, Denise. I did Colleen’s challenge in the past. She was kind to invite me to enter in this anthology. Life got busy. I should pick it up again. 🙂

    1. It’s hard to try to do everything, Miriam, but I do hope you get a chance to write some more poetry soon. xo

  1. I’m so glad you shared, Denise. Thank you. My husband fell today, and I had to call 911 to get him to the ER. He’s still there waiting for tests. With Covid, the hospital is a mess. I still don’t know his condition and they won’t let you inside to be with them. As soon as Amazon releases the print version, I’ll get everyone the links. <3

    1. Oh, no, Colleen! I hope he is doing okay! I know with the COVID things changed a lot, I hated not being with my husband when he had his surgery a couple of weeks ago. I’m sorry this happened and please update when you can. Sending a ton of healing hugs and light to your husband and you. xoox

      1. Thanks, Craig. When Ron fell from the top step he fell on his right side. It resulted in a fractured scapula. It will take a year to fully heal, but I’ve got him home. That’s all that matters. <3

      1. Thanks, Harmony. It was a crazy day. Thank goodness he won’t need surgery to fix the fracture. It will take a year to completely heal. I’m so thankful he is okay. <3

  2. What a beautiful book cover and title. Congratulations on being included in the release, Denise. I recognize the names of so many talented poets. I loved your poems. Both evoke such strong images and mood. I had to read both multiple times just to wallow around in the words.

    1. Thank you, Mae 🙂 It is a beautiful cover and title, isn’t it? There’s a lot of good poems and poets in there. Glad you enjoyed them. xo

  3. A huge congratulations to Colleen, you and all the authors included in this book of poetry, Denise! Thank you for sharing it. I know I am going to enjoy it!

    1. Thanks, Jan! I have a feeling you’ll enjoy it, there are some really good poets in it. xo
