Hi! Today I’m doing Colleen Chesebro’s Tanka Tuesday Poetry Challenge #247. This week is Synonmyns Only and the words, Twilight & Hue were chosen by Willow Willers.
I came up with a Tanka poem and found this picture to accompany it.
landscape tinted red
under the heavy sunset
as darkness descends
luminescent moon rises
offering magical hope

The sun and the moon take turn to give us magical hope. Well written, Denise!
They do, Miriam! And I’m so glad 🙂
The nature takes care of us, Denise! 🙂
Very nice, Denise!
Thank you, Joan 🙂
A perfect combination of photo and poem, Denise. I love how you painted the transition between between sunset and moonrise. Beautifully done.

Thank you, Elizabeth:) Yes, fall does offer up a ton of inspriation doesn’t it?
That is beautiful. I love trees, struggling, surviving.

Lovely, Denise. It starts off dark and then ends with the twist into hope … brilliant 🙂
Thank you, Harmony. I’m always hoping things twist into magic!
Hello friends. Been trying to comment all day. Cannot. Particularly with Harmony. So allow me to butt in here. Last comment I attempted:
Hi Harmony. This is another test comment. I’ve been blocked from your comment site on all the posts I read today. “An unexpected error,” shows up.
Love your writing… test-commenting.
We all need magical hope. Lovely. Thanks, Denise.
